What we receive, and why

Petty Grievance Court is responsible for the case information used by this service. Contact us about privacy or an order at pettygrievancecourt@gmail.com.

Prewritten samples do not send case text to a model. Before you submit your own case, we ask you to acknowledge how the service uses it. Submission sends your text to our server and Frontier Gen-AI models to create a free, personalized summary judgment. We store the case text, summary, a case identifier, and your acknowledgment with the notice version and server time. No payment card is needed for a free summary; usage limits apply.

If you choose the $5 upgrade, we copy that case into a separate order and create a Stripe checkout. We keep the order even if you abandon checkout, so a payment that completes can be matched to its case. After you pay and open your detailed judgment, we send the case text and its summary to Frontier Gen-AI models to create the full opinion, and store the result for retrieval. Upgrading is optional.

Use fictional names or nicknames and ordinary, lighthearted situations. Do not submit contact details, sensitive personal information, private information about other people, or serious allegations. Your ruling may repeat details from your text. It is not published by us: copying, printing, or sharing it is your choice.

We also use payment status and transaction identifiers to check purchases; hashed access tokens to restrict access to free cases and paid orders; and a hashed network address with time-limited request counts to limit abuse. Hosting providers receive normal connection information such as network addresses and request metadata. If you email support, we receive the message and contact details you provide. Never email card numbers or passwords.

The services involved

• Vercel hosts the website and its server functions. Vercel AI Gateway routes the case text and generated opinion to and from Frontier Gen-AI models. Vercel privacy notice.
• Upstash stores free case records, summaries, paid orders and opinions. Our current application database is in the United States. Upstash privacy policy.
• AI generation. Frontier Gen-AI models generate the fictional opinion from your case text. The current model provider is OpenAI. We request that the response not be stored for later retrieval through the provider’s API; that setting does not eliminate provider security or operational retention. Model provider data practices.
• Stripe provides its hosted checkout and processes payment, receipt, fraud-prevention and billing details. This website does not receive your full payment-card number. Stripe privacy policy.

These providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Their service agreements and applicable data-transfer arrangements govern their processing. Their own notices also describe information they handle for their independent purposes, such as security or payment obligations.

How long information stays

Free case records, including the text, summary and submission acknowledgment, expire from our application database 24 hours after creation. They remain available during that period for retries, retrieval and an optional upgrade. Save or copy the summary before it expires.

An upgrade creates a separate paid-checkout order. That order, its acknowledgment and any detailed opinion expire 30 days after the order is created. After successful detailed generation, we clear the paid order’s original case-text field; the summary and opinion can still contain details from it. Unpaid, abandoned or failed checkout orders can retain case text until the same 30-day expiry. Time-limited abuse counters expire automatically. Browser storage has the separate lifetimes listed below.

Payment, support, provider backup, security and operational records are separate from this application expiry and may be retained for longer under provider policies or legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion or to ask about a specific record. Save your opinion before the order expires.

Our reasons for processing

We use case and order data to provide the free summary you request, take the steps you request toward an upgrade, and deliver a detailed package you buy. Where a legal basis is required, that service processing relies on your requested service or contract, rather than optional cookie consent. Security and abuse prevention protect the service and its customers; payment and recordkeeping may also be required by law. Optional browser storage relies on your separate choice. We do not use your cases for advertising, sell them, or share them for targeted advertising.

Cookies & browser storage

Choosing “Only necessary” keeps free summaries, upgrades and paid delivery available. Optional storage starts off. You can accept or withdraw it through Cookie & storage preferences on the court page. Declining removes this site’s optional saved draft and receipt. It does not cancel a purchase or erase the necessary record used to deliver your requested service.

This site installs no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no embedded Stripe payment script. When you leave for Stripe checkout, Stripe controls storage on its own page; its privacy and cookie information applies there. Infrastructure may use necessary security measures. Your browser settings can also block or clear storage, but blocking the case or purchase cookie can prevent retrieval or automatic delivery. Contact support with your receipt if a paid order cannot be opened.

Your choices and requests

Before submitting, you can edit or remove your text, or use the prewritten samples instead. You can receive a free summary without buying an upgrade. After submitting, email pettygrievancecourt@gmail.com for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, or to raise an objection or ask us to restrict processing. Depending on your location, these rights and the right to complain to a data-protection authority may apply. We may need reasonable proof that the case or order belongs to you before disclosing or changing it.

You can withdraw optional storage consent at any time through the court’s preferences control. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing. Necessary payment records or other information required by law may have to be kept. Removing case or order data before delivery can prevent us from completing or restoring that opinion; we will explain that consequence when handling your request.

The AI creates entertainment only. It makes no decision about your legal rights, eligibility, employment, credit, or other real-world entitlement. Do not rely on a ruling as a finding about a real person.

Free summaries, the $5 upgrade & refunds

A personalized summary judgment is free and can be copied or shared. It includes a short fictional ruling for your case. No card is required, and you do not need to upgrade to see the summary. Usage limits help keep the free service available.

From your summary, one optional $5 USD payment buys one detailed judgment package: a full ruling, detailed reasoning, a proportionate fictional sentence, a substantial dissent, and a printable version. There is no subscription. Any applicable taxes appear at checkout. The existing Stripe merchant name may appear as DMGrimoireio.

Return from Stripe and choose “Open detailed package” in the same browser. Generation can take two minutes. If it fails, retry without paying again. Save or print the full opinion when it arrives; orders expire after 30 days. Ordinary opinions aim for 700–950 words. Cases outside the court’s lighthearted scope may receive a shorter dismissal. Outputs are fictional and may contain mistakes.

If we cannot deliver your pack, contact pettygrievancecourt@gmail.com within 7 days with your Stripe receipt for help or a refund. This support window does not limit rights or remedies required by consumer law, including any applicable cancellation rights. We do not treat your submission acknowledgment as a waiver of those rights.
